Miranda received her Masters’ degree in Psychology from the University of Central Lancashire in Preston, England. She currently works for the ‘Cyprus Association of cancer patients and friends – PASYKAF’ as an officer for the Gastrointestinal cancers group. In her current position she uses a holistic approach in order to reduce gastrointestinal cancers new incidences and mortality, promote early diagnosis procedures and provide better treatment options for patients. She also organizes campaigns to promote cancer awareness and prevention programs including convincing people to engage in a healthier lifestyle.
