Julia is a medical student at the Medical University of Gdansk who takes a particular interest in public health and cancer prevention. As the National Cancer Prevention Project Manager at the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associactions IFMSA-Poland she focuses on sharing knowledge in a way that it can be acquired easily by the public. She prepares materials that are used by educators in schools all over the country and creates campaigns concerning cancer prevention. In addition to working on the national level she also works locally by educating young people in schools about the European Code Against Cancer and other health-related topics.
As ECL Youth Ambassador she hopes to get through to the public and raise awareness about healthy habits that can prolong life. She believes that creating approachable campaigns is the most effective way to reach that goal.
