Janet is a Medical Oncology resident doctor who graduated in Medicine from Sofia University in 2018. She is a member of CancerCare.bg – the first ever Bulgarian Foundation supporting cancer patients and their loves ones – and is behind the organisation of Think Pink Europe’s ‘Race for the Cure’ – an annual, worlwide sports event dedicated to breast cancer. Her experience at ECL started in 2015 when the group of Youth ambassadors for the Code against Cancer was formed. Janet has always been interested in oncology, cancer prevention and research and has taken part in numerious events and activities related to cancer prevention in her country and beyond. Her goals as Youth Ambassador for Bulgaria is to help accelerate the implementation of cancer screening programmes at the national level.
