Shaping the implementation of Europe's Beating Cancer Plan

In 2021, ECL’s EWAC campaign will focus on shaping the implementation of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan (#EUCancerPlan) – a core priority of the European Commission in the 2019-2024 legislative term.
During #EWAC2021, ECL will seek to raise awareness about the flagship initiatives and supporting actions outlined in the Communication on Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan, as well as promote cancer leagues’ recommendations for European and national decision-makers.
All individuals and cancer and health-focused organisations are warmly invited join us to ensure the implementation of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan works well for patients and meets the needs identified by the European cancer community! 

#EWAC2021 take places between Tuesday 25 May and Monday 31 May 2021. Each day will focus on a different aspect of the cancer control continuum.

To mark European Immunization Week 2021, ECL has organised a Youth Competition as part of the European Joint Action on Vaccinations. This Youth Competition aims to raise awareness among young people residing within the WHO European Region about:

The competition encourages young people under 26 years old to create visual designs, short videos and case studies. Winning and shortlisted entries will be disseminated during European Week Against Cancer. The visuals, videos and presentations collected will form part of a publicly accessible library from which government and civil society advocates can draw to raise awareness about the importance of HPV vaccination.

🌐WASABY is an educational app to help young people learn the messages within the European Code Against Cancer and how to lead a healthy life whilst reducing their cancer risk.
