Daria is passionate about public health and clinical research and believes that a large percentage of tumors can be prevented by providing more information to the general public about preventative and early diagnosis methods. She worked for six years in a regional foundation which provided financial and psycho-social support to Ukrainian children and young oncology patients both in Ukraine and abroad, and took part in a 6-months volunteering programme in Switzerland. Daria has been a blood donor for the last 10 years and has experience of the workings of the blood donation system in Ukraine.
