Daniela Giangreco
Daniela Giangreco is Head of Primary Prevention at LILT Milan – the Italian League against Cancer. She is in charge of primary prevention programmes with a particular emphasis on multi-regional projects and initiatives related to health inequalities and cancer prevention.
She has experience and expertise in health communication and health research initiatives, as well as co-publishing in peer-reviewed articles. Her work experience includes project management for national health awareness and cancer prevention campaigns, research projects and publishing. Her focus is on immigrants’ health, and community-wide health projects for the promotion of smoke-free schools and smoking cessation.
Daniela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Language Studies and a Master’s degree in Communication. She is a member of the working subgroup for the elaboration of the National Cancer Plan – Italian Ministry of Health. She is also Head of the Tobacco Subworking Group at ECL and was designated Member of the Scientific Committee – ECThO Madrid 2023.
She regularly lectures on health inequalities and health awareness communication strategies as a guest lecturer at “Cattolica University” of Milan and “La Statale” University.
