Anna-Marija is a third-year medicine student at the University of Tartu and also a member of Estonian Medical Student Association.
„Never give up on something you can’t go a day without thinking about” is a quote describing her. Anna-Marija is only at the beginning of her journey but already very motivated and interested in oncology. She has seen pain in oncological patients many times and feels that it is the mission of her life to help these people. Anna-Marija says: “Do I want to investigate treatment against cancer? Yes, of course. But at this moment I am really happy to be a part of Youth Ambassadors and spread the European Code against Cancer in my country, because more efficient than treatment can only be a healthy lifestyle.”
In everyday life she is doing sports, playing piano and working in hospital’s intensive care unit.
