Mashkur has a background in Medicine & Surgery and is a Master of Public Health student at the School of Health and Related Research, University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom. He has a great passion for community action and is currently affiliated with the Young Leaders for Health, InciSioN Student Surgical Network, African Young Leaders for Global Health as well as numerous medical organisations and events for which he serves as an ambassador.
Mashkur is a global health enthusiast with a keen interest in universal health coverage, health systems governance and the SDGs. He believes youth involvement and action are fundamental to a sustainable healthy future. Mashkur holds positions in several charities and NGOs with the ultimate goal of making a positive lasting impact.
