Lucia Aboud Oizerovich

Lucia Aboud Oizerovich has been the director of public affairs at the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) since 2023. In this role, she leads strategies to strengthen engagement with stakeholders, including policymakers, to advance cancer prevention, research, and healthcare equity.
 
Lucia has extensive experience in public affairs and strategic communication, having worked in both government and the consultancy sector. She served as Secretary of State for Political and Parliamentary Relations in Argentina (2018–2019). She worked for over ten years in government, crisis, and electoral communications. She combines her professional work with academic engagement as an associate professor of Political Consulting at Universidad Carlos III in Madrid.
 
Within the Association of European Cancer Leagues (ECL), Lucia actively contributes to advocacy initiatives and policy discussions at the European level. 
 
Her primary focus areas include political advocacy, institutional relations, and strategic communication for health policy. She holds a BA in Political Science and Government, a Master’s in Political and Institutional Communication, and a Postgraduate degree in Political Management from George Washington University.
