The Association of European Cancer Leagues (ECL) is a non-profit umbrella organisation made up of 34 national and regional cancer leagues advocating for improved cancer control and care across Europe.  Our vision is a Europe free of cancer.

Every nine seconds, someone in the European Union is diagnosed with cancer. The disease claimed the lives of an estimated 1.3 million people in 2022 alone, making it the leading cause of death for people under 65 in Europe. To achieve a Europe free of this disease, we need to intensify the fight against cancer.
