Vaghinak is a young lawyer working for the NGOs ‘PINK Armenia’ and ‘Real World, Real People’. He provides legal counsel to cancer patients, people affected and at risk of HIV and to the LGBTQ community. He also conducts training courses for healthcare professionals, policemen and students on the right to health, patients’ rights, legal regulations of prescribing drugs for pain relief, and amendments to palliative care, psychotropic substances and medical secret legislation. Vaghinak has extensive experience in health campaigning and advocacy and has carried out work on opioid analgesics for pain relief and fair high-quality access to medicines and treatment for cancer patients in collaboration with the Ministry of Health RA, the police of RA and health care providers.
