Urška KOŠIR

Slovenia

Urška Košir is a postdoctoral research fellow at Concordia University where she works on the analysis of a large COVID-19 related international survey. She completed her PhD in Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford. Most of her work focuses on the psycho-social adaptation to cancer in young people. Along her studies, Urška also chaired the committee on health literacy and self-care of the European Health Parliament, which proposed actionable policy recommendations to improve health literacy across the EU. Her work aims at informing public health policies internationally and reducing the inequalities of outcomes among young people living with and beyond cancer, as well as other chronic health conditions. When not working she runs (sometimes away from too many responsibilities).
