Ruiying JIAN

Ireland

Ruiying is a medical student from Singapore studying at the University College Cork in Ireland. After attending an epidemiology summer programme in 2016, she became a passionate public health advocate and went on to organise a community exhibition on cervical cancer. She is now looking to collaborate with the Irish Cancer Society to promote the European Code Against Cancer and anticipates conducting research on implementing effective preventive health measures. A new addition to the Association of Medical Students Ireland, she hopes to extend their outreach and spark greater interest in public health policy amongst the future generation of healthcare providers as well as in the wider community.
