Nadezda is a medical student at the Medical University of Varna (MUV). She has been volunteering in many organizations whose primary purpose is disseminating knowledge and raising awareness about all types of discrimination against oppressed groups. Also, she is currently part of an NGO called “Sappho”, which main focus is feminism, LGBTQ+ liberation, anti-racism, and class struggles. Being a young activist in the medical field can be very challenging and, as a future oncologist, she has to make sure that cancer prevention messages are spread among all of the public, regardless of one’s ethnicity, gender, sexuality, social class.
