Marianna is a doctoral student in clinical psychology at the University of Cyprus and has a master’s degree in health psychology from the University of Surrey. Among her research activities (viz., publications and conference presentations), cancer research projects are included. Additionally, among her clinical practicum as a trainee clinical psychologist, Marianna worked with cancer patients, children, and young adults. Marianna envisions a world free of cancer and, as Benjamin Franklin said, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”; therefore, the time to take action is now.
