Kerfala has an International Master in Peace, Conflict and Development Studies from the Interuniversity Institute on Social Development and Peace (IUDESP)/ UNESCO Chair of Philosophy for Peace, Universitat Jaume I (UJI), Castellón, Spain. He is an activist, the President Founder of NGO United Action for Community Development for promoting peace, environmental awareness, and women. He is currently involved in three projects: as a campus ambassador of the project Indiafrica a Shared Future. As a Core Participant in the Reinventing Democracy in the Digital Era project, supported by the European Union and the United Nations Fund for Democracy, and as a trainer and educator at Ecole Superieure de technology for EST students, a programme supported by Moulay Ismail University.
