Currently working at IES Social Business School, Elsa is helping Portuguese NGOs to find grants to fund their projects.  As a Member of the Health Parliament Portugal, she has been working on the ethics and health big data taskforce. Elsa holds a Degree in Economics from the Catholic Lisbon School of business & Economics and has done her Master studies in European Economics at the Collège d’Europe (Bruges). She has experience on policy advising, advocacy and cooperation for development. Elsa has worked at the European Parliament, OECD, with the United Nations in East Timor and on the private sector in Portugal. Elsa is passionate about global health and health diplomacy and believes prevention (“early detection, early responses” ) and multidisciplinary and collaborative approaches are the best responses to NCDs global challenges.
