Ariadna FELIU JOSA

Spain 

She is a postdoctoral scientist at the Environmental and Lifestyle Epidemiology Branch at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) working on the Latin American and the Caribbean Code Against Cancer. She conducted her Ph.D. at the Tobacco Control Unit of the Institut Catala d’Oncologia – a WHO Collaborating Centre on the impact of tobacco control policies implementation on the European and Latin-American population. She has also conducted research on the harmful effects of tobacco products and the exposure to second-hand smoke and smoking cessation intervention implementation in healthcare facilities. She also collaborates with the Catalan Network of Smoke-Free Hospitals. Ariadna has been an active member of the ECL Youth Ambassador Programme since 2017 and is the co-chair of the Research Working Group.
